This was our first official 5v5 match on OGL for rung # ??? something in the 3 digit range, who knows, and who cares. Columbus Fire Demons, we heard, were a team comprised mostly of firefighters, from Columbus, Ohio, I presume.
So, knowing this ahead of time, we prepared for the worse, a crew of pyro's jumping the pit in Crossover2, the first map. So we took off the armor and put on the asbestos suits. It worked! No, not against the flames, they didn't use the pyro rush, but our team, now being far lighter without the armor, just ran around like soldier ants never resting! I couldn't load fast enough!
They had the flag out in the yard 4 times and while we all looked towards Mecca, 'the bridge', a CFD scout would pop up from behind us and swoop away with the flag. We later found out he had built himself a pad in our mini-supply room and started a fire without a permit!
Our offense was too busy to help out defense in time of crisis! It was like hallway sex....never mind.

I LOVE THIS MAP! I love jumping across those ramps and see how far I can get without falling down....the elevator ride is good, too. In this match however, it didn't work out that way. I believe I counted 315 CFD's come running to our fort, all HWG's too!!! Well, it was that scary at least!
I think they left one guy in charge and sent the rest of the battallion out to chop, soak, and cause massive arson upon us. Sirens were blasting and bodies flying everywhere. Then it was quiet....ahhh....the blood spots were dissapearing. We thought a truce was, perhaps, in the works, until that wave...that awful horrid wave came to show it's ugly face again...this time a little more variety, there was a pyro, there was a scout, there was a medic, there was a soldier, a HW...oh the list went on 'till finally it was over and we realized woohoo...our offense made a few more caps than they did.
