Federal Open Market Committee is their name and they challenged us for #7. At first, we were going to just let them win, after all, who wants to risk having the Fed's come banging on your door demanding to audit your tax returns due to a 'tip' from Greenspan! We knew we had better watch what we say as [F.O.M.C] enters our server at exactly match time. They all wore the G men suits and carried those little briefcases. Yes, we were intimidated.

When they asked to begin, I immediately jumped and replied "SIR, YES SIR!!" Then I realised we needed a couple of more minutes...I mean come on now, this is an OGL match, who on earth starts on time anyway?? Fearing penalties and interest levied upon us, we hurried up and got the game rolling. It was our choice map and THEY WERE AHEAD!!!

It was a little intimidating as their medics would come in and shout something like "Demon! I have that background check on you...tsk tsk tsk, 1978, London, England, you and what was that minors name again?" Well, standing with pride, I immediately yelled, "PLEASE....PLEASE...TAKE THE FLAG shhhh! I didn't know how old she was!"

=WaR=Snowman confused with me ushering the medic out with the flag took no chances and emp's us both! It was like giving a wild animal his first taste of blood, because after that incident it was like this, "Hey Snowman..." (BOOM, emp explodes I'm down to 1 health 1 armour) 'WHAT'S UP DEMON?"....hmmm "err never mind Snowman" as I crawl back to the supply room in tatters.

[F.O.M.C] held the lead for a good period till =WaR=HavoC and =WaR=Kaos decided to do that havoc and kaos 'thang' upon the enemy. (Besides, I told =WaR=HavoC and =WaR=Kaos that [F.O.M.C] showed me their background checks too and that I would reveal the Barbie incident Kaos had and where HavoC hides his stash) IT WORKED! They brought in the caps and we began leading.

After about 333 TK's later from Snowman, we won the match 110-60. (there was one incident that =WaR=Snowman asked I not reveal, SO HERE GOES hehehe, during the game, he throws an emp which bounces off the back of my head and destroys his SG! DOH!) Great effort by [F.O.M.C] for taking and holding the lead for some time and scaring us to death!

This was [F.O.M.C] choice map and one we had never played in a match before. Prior to the game we called upon our best allies [TTK] and asked for help on this map. We played a 5 O vs D with [TTK]Schizo and [TTK]Royal Alliance the night before and we still went home thinking "WE'RE DOOOOOOOMED!!"

Match time begins and already you can hear those wicked laughs from the Feds! They came tearing over with a 2 man scout rush and a Greenspan Flag hoping to replace it with ours! Can you believe that?? I'M A TAX PAYER DAMN IT!! We squashed their first attempt and won our first attempt with a cap! Wippee! We were ahead!

I have to say, I have never seen the incredible concs their medics were making from the canal to the flag and instantly back out again before any of us could stop them. Thank god for SG's!! We all stood around the flag like scared little sheep, only one of us in Defense however, was a scared little BLACK sheep! Yep =WaR=Snowman again! Having deprived him from his SG we made him a HWG.

I mean honestly, when our mum's n dad's gave us toys we didn't look after, they took 'em away from us. Unfortunatley =WaR=Snowman could not stand the idea that I now had his SG. I knew he was up to no good as every now and then I would get some of his friendly fire each time I turned my back on him. When I would confront him, he would say "The enemy was coming!" Hmmm...enemy was coming the opposite direction! He was JIVING and JOSHING with me!

We held the lead from the very begining then for some reason could not cap anymore! [F.O.M.C] were coming back from a 50-20 score and were pouring it on in force! Dizzy and dazed they began catching up! We began to panic! We made so many mistakes in this map we felt very lucky to have won it. During one assault by the FED's, their medic makes 2 successful concs and grabs our flag. =WaR=Snowman, being of an accomodating nature, decides to toss a mirv that lands next to my SG and destroys it allowing their medic a free pass out. We all looked at Snowman...he cowars back in the corner and tries to assume that fetal position.

How does a HWG assume a fetal position? We weren't going for it, =WaR=Raptor and I decided to do him in good for that stunt and poured our ordinances upon him! Final result...I TK =WaR=Raptor and he TK's Snowman and I! That was the whole defense out of commission and another cap lost!

Arrrgghhh! we thought, "quick guys, let's make a truce and settle this after the match!" It was now 50-50! We asked the Offense for forgiveness and Snowman's head if they could take the pressure of us and cap one more.

They did and now =WaR=Snowman is a trophy hanging in the =WaR= Camp. :) WE STILL LUV YA SNOWMAN! Without you the game wouldn't be as much fun (or as challenging hehehe) Final score 60-50! Phew! I think time was against [F.O.M.C] as they made an incredible come back attempt and a great effort.
